Months ago we went to baby fair called Baby baby exhibition that's hold during 4oct -6oct . Went with hubby and princess J . Although we are disappointed with the lacking of items with the huge amount of crowds. We still managed to get cheap stuffs !!! Huggies and Pampers diaper + active baby pull up pants .A great stuff for me to train princess J for toilet ready session ^^ 

We walk past a booth of insurance by AXA , were attached by the baby pool of colorful balls !!! Further more they do have a Mummy-Daddy-Baby look a like competition !!! Woohoo .. We took part in it .. 

Several weeks later , we received a good new !!! We won ourselves some Ntuc vochers ;) great use for princess j formula milk power ^^ woohoo .. 

Family Trip to Sea Aquarium

What a great week past with both of us down with fever , flu , cough -_-

When baby is sick , mummy is also sick ??? so true ... hahahs but that proved motherly love as it show we do take care them and stay by their side when they are sick :)

However after Jenell recover during the weekend , we bought her out for a family-day ^^ Woohoo (although i still sick :< )

We went to the Sea Aquarium over at Sentosa  . She was really excited from the moment we step out from the train station hahash . Looking around with her curiousity pair of eyes . I shall let the the picture do the talking :)

5months baby :)

Times flies , jenell grow up like all other baby . Now she managed to flip over and over , again and again . Such a playful girl but its saddening when I bring her for her routine check and injection . We found out that she haven't been gaining weight for the past month and grow taller :(

We do not know what's goes wrong as we do feed her regularly and she seems well and never sick except she will vomit when consume brown rice that my mil bought . So far consuming friso cereal is a better choice for her as she love it and often will finish it and ask for more .

Attend hubby graduation last thur , the moment jenell see daddy , she scream so loudly .. Hahas .. So cute of her . 

I will starting school in a month time , guess i will miss her loads as I can't get to see her everyday due to hiring maid at my mother Hse and I don wan to tired jenell for traveling . 

Sometimes human being are so selfish that they only think for themselves . And of cos no $$ no talk society . Just like my hubby family . No one willing to spare a space for maid staying . So out of no choice but to separate with jenell . Hopefully my sacrifice will be worth ;) thank god my mummy and sister willing let out one of their room for maid and jenell stay :) love them ttm .. Sometimes family ties and blood ties really matter . 

Full time mummy and wife ??

Perhaps I'm too young to understand how to be a good wife or even a good mummy ?? I guess I have do my best I can ?? 

At our age , it should be filled with school and friends and enjoyment .

Me here being expect to be a full time wife and mummy do have school and friends so of cos I need my enjoyment too ?? Oh ya I'm a year 3 student in Rp :)

Sometimes life get so frustrated that I'm expected to take care and look after Jenell 24/7 but of cos not because I hate her or wad . It's just imagine facing a person for 24/7 , you do get bored right ?? 

Jenell is a cheerful gal who alwae smile which I wonder why since I'm not a smiling person when pregnant hahas . She's a cutie pie of cos is my princess too but as she grow , she tends to be more naughty as other infant too . She will shouts , throw temper when u don't give her wad she want , screams for attention etc . She's definitely a attention seeker person just like a tropical Aries baby when going out from the amount of attraction she attracted hahas .

At the other hand , the father do not spend times as much with her but she seems like him more which make me abit jealous at times , sound silly of me rite ??

The father is not an outgoing person but he like to hang out with friends , smoking slacking drinking . The duty of taking care Jenell eventually lie onto my shoulder :(

Sometimes I will be so emotional till I hug Jenell and cry ; cute of her will hug me back and kiss me hahas . That scene u can imagine ??  

Times flies , I will be going back to school in 2 months times . Wonder if ii can get used to school life ?? Hopefully I can graduate in times :)

Movie Review- The Smurfs 2

Great date with my hubby for late movie . I have always have a liking for smurfs for no reason , i just find their singing extreme cute and funny especially they like to add smurfs on their wording and tone ( I smurf you , I SMURF YOU , my butt is smurf pain etc )

Story beginning with my favorite smurfette feeling blue for some reason ( go watch and you know it ) THis time round , the smurf is really letting us have a more warming feeling instead of those cartoon like feeling which everything is all about cute and singing all these .

Some part of the story is really touching on dad-son tie ; dad-daughter tie etc . There's a line from PaPa Smurf that i remember clearly which is"  life is all about forgiving and accept isnt it ? " , " What's more important than family tie ", " You are not who you are but who are you becoming as ? "

These are definitely some important values that i will like jenell to learn and take note of in the future when she grows up :)

Originally i wanna bring jenel along but who knows Cathay don't allows babies in , that's really sad . ( guess i will show her when dvd is out ^^

This movie is really highly recommend for kids and adults !! :)

Its not easy to bring a life to this world :-/

Recalling from the day I suspect Jenell de presence till confirm her presence . That night is really filled with worries . Mainly I and hubby is really way too young and not ready to get a baby . Although to people out there , there might be much younger parents than us . Not to mention , we did have the thought of don't wan her :-/ but at the moment I see her through ultra scan , I truly smile . 

Being in BMT , hubby can't go through alot of things with me . Most of the times , I will have to go for all the check up session on my own . I'm a poly student who get pregnant when she's still academic year , it don't really reflect good on me or the school . True enough my programmer chair did aak me to consider properly whether I will want continue my studies since when I told her this news , it's a new start of a semester .

I told her firmly " I want to go through everything no matter how hard it going to be , no matter how people look at me "

So I didn't told anyone about my pregnancy except a few close friends . I was trying my best to hide and avoid everyone while going lesson as normal . I was wrong , the looks on people face changes as the baby bumps grows . Finally as the bump grows , I getting more n more unwell toward the end of the semester . At last I can't tahan , there's a day when I have a bad tummy aches , I just can't get up of bed on myself . (FYI I was not alone at home at that point of time ) I called out for help from my sil , who knows she just throw me a hot pack ask me to put it at the tummy to cure the cramp . Having the pain for couple hours , I know something's not right , the pain is just like contraction :-/ Hubby not at home , sil 's ignorance , I ring up my own mummy . Immediately I was admitted into hospital , shocking news is that I am having pre-mature labour with 3cm dilated without water bag burst which means Jenell will be out anytime from now ??!!! Omg she's only 29 weeks with 1.3kg weight . Although the next day is cny eve but all on my mind is all about how can she out right now ?? She will need to be in icu :( the expenses (at least 67k ) the dangers the development , all the worries make me break down in the delivery suite of kkh . I kept plead doctor to save baby if anything happen , she's my everything and everything , nothing can happen to her .

So the doctor after discussion with doctor Adrain , decide to put me on drip and some injection to strengthen baby lungs . Trust me the injection in thighs is really no kidding and the medication flowing inside blood vessels :( 

Anyway after hours inside delivery suite , Hearing all the pushing and yells from the mummies to let their babies to be the first snake baby . I was urging my baby don't come out yet , she no need to be the first snake baby yet . 

Total I was in hospital for a 2 weeks of lying on bed whole day and can't walk around till I insist discharge for my final examination as I know princess have been gd girl of not let me suffer during schooling , I can't let her down and failed my exams . 

Thank god that My baby is safe and sound till she hit 36weeks to out . Even TMC nurses praise me for my bravery . ;)

So That's will explain the light birth weight of hers ??

People , if you read this post , please give ur mummy a hug or kiss on cheeks . 

Motherly love is never easy and they might lose their life anytime during birth . 

Babies Foodies :)

What a cooling Monday . My princess have been sleeping through the night since she turn 4 months . Some advice for mummies or daddies who want to sleep through the night without your babies waking up .

•  Fix a regular sleeping timing for her / him -
•  Make it a must or habit to Feed a little milk before patting her / him to sleep . ( a hungry baby is a angry baby ) 
• Let them sleep lesser in the afternoon or nap for 30-40 min . ( they don't use much energy as compared to adults so small nap will do ). 

These few days , Jenell have been having fever and throwing up due to teething and consuming cereals . We have went to a few doctor but seems that teething feverish is something we cant avoid except "brushing" her little tooth as often as possible to help her reduce the itchiness of the popping tooth and i realise the teething cream which named " Hylands Baby Teething Gel "

 

It really seems that she have a problem on comsuming those tradiitonal cereal from medicial shop . So we decide to go for a try on Frisocream Wheat-based Milk Cereal. She love it even though i tried use spoon to feed her :) Friso really a great help to the mummies providing different stages of foodies from we preggy to newborns to toddlers . Most importantly they really provide all the important nutrient that those precious of us need :)

This week is quite a short week for most of us . i will be bringing Jenell to go watch " The Smurf 2 " on this coming national day . I will be bringing her on my own as her daddy got to be on duty on our nation's birthday :) She have always have a liking on pooh and smurfs so i guess she will feeling excited for this session . 

She is actually kissing the pooh and ' sayang' him . 

How cute it is right ??? hahas :)

Arrival of a new life

Every pregnancy process is varies within different people . I'm thankful that everything went well for me and my baby . Give birth is hours to day matter but bringing up a baby is a forever matter. I'm here to share with all you on how do I grow up together with my baby and have fun together :)

My baby princess is born on 02 Apr 13 which falls on the same month as me :) I'm really lucky to gone through a mid waiting process from labour pain to she's out to see this world . Unbelievable that I will have Blood stains appearing on a April Fool day night , it do sounds like a joke to all my friends when I told them that i giving birth soon ; it include my husband too . Oh ya my husband is a Air Force regular so he just right have to stay in on that very night : thankful that I do not have any labour pain appearing so first I call up my gyne Dr Adrain Woodworth ( he's a fast delivery doctor !! I bet ) . So he told me to not be nervous and double check on my delivery bag and all the important document and try to walk around in the house to let my muscle relax before going to Thomson medical center . My hubby was back home at about 1 am so since I'm not in great pain , I can still walk to the car park to wait for him . ( I really think I am too calm anyway ) .

So the moment we reach there , I was being wheel-chaired to the delivery ward . Trust me , when you hear all the yelling and groaning sounds of those mummies to be , you will naturally feel nervous and pain too haha . So all the tests and information collection was conducted and blah blah till they insert a liquid form medicine into my anus to clear everything out to prepare me :-/ omg that's the real moment i feel terrified when everything just rush out from my anus ( I was scared to rush baby out too hahaha ) . Worse thing is I'm only dilated 1cm when admission , that means I got to wait 9cm more that I will able to see my princess which really means hours to day waiting . At that moment there's really no obvious pain except the movement of my naughty baby kicking me .
As for me ? I was on drip to fasten the dilated process . At 5cm , the pain really kick in and I begin to grab my hubby hand as the contraction continue every couple minute . Remember of reading online of useful of laughing gas , I request and try on it ; of cos I feel cheated as it do not have any use on me just make me feel more breathless compared to those saying of high feeling ??

The night passed and finally morning my doctor arrived and so fast I didn't mention my water bag burst right ?? Ya and my doctor to burst it at around 7am and it really have no feeling at all just a feeling of whole bed is wet and I'm really restless and tired after whole night of contraction pain till I really can't stand it after the burst of water bag , the real pain appear and getting stronger till I decided to go for epidural ( you can click on the link to check on the effect :) ) it's really useful to me as it really totally numb my lower body and i feel nothing at all except I really feel the side effect when I get pushes into the delivery suit . In Thomson , we do get a suite that is alike as hotel room and its really cosy as compared to picture that I see on other public hospital . I'm not being wasteful on money to go for a private hospital as giving birth is really a close to death matter to a woman as they are using their life to get another life so please pampered the woman beside you :)

As doctor Adrain confirmed that my baby will be out by noon , I begin to have different images appearing in my mind and don't know how the process will like . So the side effect work on me by making vomit for whole 15min before my real war . At a point of time I really kept grab my hubby's hands and say I don't want to give birth le , let me die , I really can't stand it anymore of the pain even after injection of pain relieve . The medicine abit worn off after a period of time so the nurse kept increase the dosage for me during the process as they say since u spend the money why not use and not making yourself suffer ?? Really true enough till my baby was out after a several pushes within 15 minutes ?? That's really fast and trust me that when princess is out , I tears bitterly and my hubby really give me a perk on cheeks as I feel relive from all the suffering and there's my baby out there breathing well enough .

Really sorry for the long post but its indeed exciting and memorable moment for a new mummy :) keep tune as I shared more process of growing up with my princess which I named her Jenell .

First 3months of Jenell growth

First month 

She's very tiny as she is only born 2.48 kg :-/

She's still feeling very wobbly to me at first as I feel like I will break her bone anytime lol . Thank god I have my confinement lady with me teaching me on how to handle baby ( bathing , burping , carrying ) and breast feeling her :) 

2nd month 

She doesn't really look fat compared to other baby as doctor say she have really tiny bones like me :) who cares if she really win in weight as long she is healthy . She is feeding on friscolac formula milk , as roughly can see she have more firm flesh as compared when first born . Greatly recommend this brand if you are a mummy who unable to breast feeding after the first month :) this make up most of the nutrients found in breast milk . Of cos if you can breast feed , why not ?? Save money and have more nutrients at the same time :) 

3 months 

She have really obvious progress growth after the formula milk and doctor recommend milk formula frisco Comfort as Jenell have weak stomach as often throw up after feeding so we got to mix both together to feed her and make sure the milk stay in her little tummy and absorb :) 

 Her first swimming costume :) 

Mummies , 2 pieces costume really not adviceable for babies as it might kept drop off :( especially for Jenell :-/ 

Hey ppl this is a bath tub not swimming pool  :) as swimming pool have too much chlorine and not advice for babies to try it so fast :) 

This is a random day that I feel so bored and the weather is too hot and I decide to pampered myself and at the same time bonding session with Jenell :) it turns out quite good as she eventually fall asleep in the process so I got to wake her up after 10min and get my maid to bath her immediately so she can rest after so much fun :) 

Bringing baby out for shopping is no longer a hassle :) here is a couple must thing for me if I have to travel alone :-/

Stroller ( Goodbaby , light-blue , 3kg weight ,$249 ) : its easily kept with its light weight and by one hand :)

Carrier ( luv baby , $79(offer) 0months & above , till 18kg ,3 ways ( face-front closer to mummy body ,back-face when baby head is stable by herself so to see the world ; piggy back when bigger and need help assist ).

Today marks her 4months , that's the reason behind of me starting a blog to give her as a gift so to record down her growth and at the same time shared with all the young mummies out there :) by the way I'm 22 this year ^^  

To me no matter how tiny is my baby , I will like to dress her up like a princess :) so if there's anyone out there wants Jenell to advert for them or shares the dressing process with me . All is welcome :)
